Special Grants are one-time annual grants available only to UTGSU-recognized course unions with a Membership less than 100 full-time equivalent students (FTEs). The project detailed in your Special Grant application must be aimed at the entire graduate student population of your department and cannot cater to only one segment of your course union’s Membership. Please see application form for additional eligibility criteria.

Deadline: Monday, November 26, 2018 at noon. Cheques will be made available to successful applicants starting on January 23, 2019.
Did your course union get a Special Grant in 2018-2019? Fill out and return an evaluation form (see below) to the UTGSU Offices or email the form to firstname.lastname@example.org immediately after your event has taken place. This completed form must be on file at the UTGSU Office in order for your course union to be eligible to receive another Special Grant in 2019-2020.
