E-Transfers were sent out on November 10, 2022. Cheques will be sent out on November 11, 2022. If you think you may have forgotten your password please use the EMT password retrieval tool. Direct Deposits will be deposited on November 22, 2022 and appear in your bank accounts the week of November 27, 2022. Please Note: Deposits take a few days for the various banks to process to appear in your Bank accounts.
If you do not receive your deposit or cheque by December 1, 2022, please complete the Request Form using this link: https://contact.studentcare.ca/en/contact/95 and we will investigate your reimbursement status. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US BEFORE DECEMBER 1, 2022.

How to Opt-Out
To opt-out, you must show proof of equivalent insurance (not OHIP/UHIP). You must opt-out annually, at the beginning of the term you are first registered in. You cannot rejoin the plan after you have opted out, so check the expiry date on your insurance. Opt-outs are done online only. How to Opt-In
To opt-in your dependents, you must opt them in annually, at the beginning of the term you are first registered in. This is an annual plan. You cannot opt-in your dependents for one semester only. Opt-Out Reimbursements
Fall Semester Opt-Out Reimbursements:
The Fall Semester opt-out refunds will be issued after the add/drop period is over. Cheques/Direct Deposits/E-Transfers will be mailed out during the third week of November. You should have received an email with an application number after you opted out. That is your confirmation that your opt-out was successful. If you do not receive your refund by the middle of December, please send an email, including the confirmation email you received when you opted out (which has the application number), and your student number to: health@utgsu.ca and we will forward it to the broker for investigation.
