Student Transit Campaign

The Student Transit campaign is focused on improving the affordability and availability of public transit in the Greater Toronto Area.

Goal

Help graduate students access public transit through student-driven transit advocacy and a reduction of financial barriers associated with public transit.

Strategies

  1. Advocate for the implementation of a fare capping policy that reduces transit costs for students.
  2. Work collaboratively with other student unions and organizations to build organizational capacity for sustained student-led transit advocacy.
