Sexual Education Centre (SEC)
As a levy-funded organization, all supplies and services provided by SEC are available free of charge to the University of Toronto community. The Sexual Education Centre offers a free, confidential, non-judgmental peer support approach to sex education. The services currently offered to all University of Toronto students, faculty, staff, community members and organizations include:
- Phone support
- One-on-one peer support
- Library and resource services
- Residence and high school talks
- And more!
SEC’s Mission
- To provide information on all aspects of human sexuality in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
- To foster a sex-positive attitude on campus.
- To provide educational and empowering resources surrounding human sexual diversity and sexual orientation.
- To operate a peer support and referral service to the U of T campus and surrounding community on all aspects of human sexuality and relationships.
- To devote all the resources of the organization to the charitable activities carried on by the organization in order to meet and maintain SEC’s objectives.

Levy Fee Opt-out Dates
Graduate students’ levy fees are $1.02 for Fall full-time, $0.51 for Fall part-time and $1.01 for winter full-time or $0.51 for winter part-time. The refund of levy fees is made in person at the SEC office at 2230 College St, Room 326, between September 23rd and October 23rd, 11am – 5pm. Please bring your University of Toronto Student ID and proof of enrolment.
